The recent snowstorm has left us homebound for two days, a rare treat. My husband organized everything. As we went through pictures and memory cards, he found a picture were I was at my heaviest. Shocker! Oh my mercy. Why did someone not smack me in the hips, lips?? I asked him, 'How come you never said anything?'
His reply, "I never noticed, it was a gradual thing, I guess. But look how far you have come." I should post it, but golly I don't feel good about the state I was in. And I still have a far way to go.
Maybe I need another picture taken.
Ready for a sign of spring and a spring back in my running steps.

You are amazing -- you have come SO far -- and I look forward to watching you continue on your journey! You should read this lady's blog: http://cathyzielske.typepad.com/
ReplyDeleteShe is an amazing scrapbooker but over the past year has been documenting her "move more eat less" journey -- it might provide some inspiration for you.
Love you!
I so agree that it comes on so slowly it is hard to see the difference. Then out of the blue you see a pic and it blows you away. The good about those pics are they make great 'before' pics so you can see how far you have truly come. I hope we both continue doing well on our journey. Thanks for sharing yours.
